This edible food-grade leaf is manufactured by us using the latest technology and respected traditions of the gold beating trade specifically for the food industry.
A booklet of transfer gold leaf is made by placing each piece of gold leaf between thin sheets of rouged tissue paper.
To use the gold leaf it must be removed from the booklet gently by taking hold of the paper end with your fingers and then gently applying it to your surface such as chocolate gold side down, very lightly rub with your fingers or cotton wool on the paper backing, then remove the paper backing carefully.
It is highly recommended to use transfer leaf for all applications that require the entire leaf to adhere to the food item.

Our food-grade gold leaf is manufactured to the standard European size of 80 x 80 mm (3.15 x 3.15 inches)
This gold leaf is not suitable for gilding, and it will not color-match our regular 23 Karat gilding grade gold leaf.
Each booklet contains 25 leaves.
