Mica powder pigments

Mica pigments consist of flat, small, thin platelets with relatively large diameters and smooth surfaces. The pigments are non-toxic, do not present a risk to the environment and are non tarnishing.
They withstand temperatures up to approximatley 800 celcius.
The pigment can be added to mediums such as varnishes, shellacs, acrylics, etc. and may be used like paint. They can also be used in their powder state and placed directly on a sized surface ( flash gilding ).
All pigments can be mixed with each other to create new colors and shades.
Density of coverage depends on the amount of powder added and should be experimented with.
